Diigolet now supports Groups!

We have just updated a new diigolet that supports sharing bookmarks / annotations to your selected group(s).

We recommend that you completely reinstall the Diigolet in the Tools section this time (see instruction here).

Click Diigolet, after the menu drops down, usse the “Bookmark / Share” button to share to groups.

Diigolet is a lightweight but great alternative for those who cannot or don’t wish to download a toolbar, and for Safari, Maxthon, K-Meleon, etc. users…

New features for Diigo Groups

Here are a list of new features that we just updated for the Diigo Groups:

  • RSS support: by private / public group bookmarks or group tag
  • Browse through public groups by category: “Browse by Group Category” in View Groups
  • Full text search support to search a group: “Find / Join a group” search box in View Groups
  • Search Group bookmarks by Tag or Full-text: When you go to a particular group, use the search box on the top
  • Pull up all forum posts by username: click a username in a group forum, all posts by that user in that group will be displayed.
  • Diigolet now supports groups: go to “My Tools” section and reinstall. I love the new Diigolet… Give it a try!

Group forum full-text search is not being updated in this release yet, but forthcoming… Stay tuned…

Closed alpha volunteers wanted!

We’re working on our next major release. We’d like to invite some loyal Diigo users to participate in our closed alpha testing. We’re looking for users who want to help us make Diigo the best it can be by reporting bugs and making suggestions.

For now, we plan to be selective and only open up few limited spots. To be considered, we’d love to learn more about you. In case we have more volunteers than we can accommodate, please bear with us… we’ll be sure to save your name and email and try to get you in at some point in the future.

For more information, please view here.

Thanks so much and looking forward to hearing from you!

I diigo. Do you diigo?

One Diigo fan just sent me this very cute picture he made up. Thanks, Adam - awesome! I got his permission to share it:

This reminds me of a charming poem I saw earlier by another Diigo enthusiast, Jim Stroud:

I diigo
He diigo
She diigo
We diigo
(Shouldn’t you diigo too?)

Ah… Diigo, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways…

1. I love thee for the free tool that you are.
2. I love thee for your practical knowledge management style.
3. I love thee for thou art so easy to use. I click, I bookmark, I leave a sticky note, I see my sticky notes when I return to a website I have been to before. I smile and say…

Diigo

Great vibes! Thanks for sharing your love for Diigo :-)
~ Maggie
