As some of our users may have noticed, we recently have had some issues with our Google developer account. This caused all of our extensions on the account, including the “Diigo Web Collector”, “Quick Note”, “Awesome screenshot” and some other extensions to be unavailable on the Chrome Store. We are not 100% sure of the cause for this action, as Google only provides developers with a vague reason such as “Code visibility” issues. We think it’s due to some third party integration in “Quick Note”. In fact, most of the responses on their side have been automated, making the process of retrieving our original developer account a long and tedious task. We are still in communications with Google and will do our best to retrieve our original account that has years and years of positive reviews and about 5 million users. For now, we have set up a new developer account under diigo.com for our users to be able to continue to use and update Diigo on Chrome.
