Video & Flash media now supported!

May 12th, 2007

Good news to share: A new FF / Flock toolbar (version 1.0.2007051201) is available - Diigo now supports clipping and playing your favorite videos & flashes!
Press theĀ  icon in the toolbar to turn on / off the video clipping mode, then click the little blue clipit button button on the upper right hand corner of any video to save it to your bookmarks. That’s it! The “Clip” icon can be found in the Diigo toolbar Options (add or delete toolbar buttons) and it’s part of our “Recommended Settings for Advanced Users“.

Currently we support video/ flash media hosted by these sites:

youtube.com, myspace.com, video.google.com, video.yahoo.com, atomfilms.com, bolt.com, break.com , dailymotion.com, ifilm.com, metacafe.com , myspace.com, podtech.net , stupidvideos.com, uncutvideo.aol.com , vimeo.com

If you are a FF / Flock user, please make sure that you upgrade your toolbar to the latest version and give it a try. Our new IE toolbar with video media support will be available shortly.

Note: Thanks to early feedback from some of our users, we have now made the “Clip” button an easy ON / OFF switch. Click it only when you need it. Click it again to disable it.
